Getting livestock to you safely

How we pack

Fish are fasted before travel, bagged with oxygen, double-bagged and packed into insulated boxes. Heat packs are added when conditions require them. Dry goods travel separately where mixing them would risk the livestock.

Weather holds

We will delay a livestock dispatch if temperatures or courier conditions make safe transit unlikely. If that affects your order we'll contact you and agree a new date — your fish matter more than the delivery estimate.

Which of these you can choose, and any charge, is supplied by our system at checkout based on your order and location.

On arrival

Float the sealed bags to equalise temperature, then acclimatise slowly to your water. Keep lighting low for the first day. Please check the DOA / live fish policy before opening bags if anything looks wrong — photographs taken before opening are important.
